Unofficial CPRA Standings/Race to the CFR Update

After winning the Strathmore Stampede, Kylie Whiteside jumped from 28th to 18th in the unofficial Canadian standings, pocketing $7,379.00 at the Pro Tour rodeo. The win puts her just under $4,500 behind 12th-place Colby Bonnett, who earned $1,658.16 winning the Coronation Rodeo over the weekend.

Karli Cowie won $368.95 at Strathmore and currently sits 13th in the standings, just $835.93 behind Bonnett. Behind Cowie is Michelle Alley, but with her rodeo count below the minimum requirement, she is currently out of the Canadian Finals Rodeo race. Following Alley is eight-time CFR qualifier Lynette Brodoway, who sits unofficially $3,667.46 behind Bonnett.

Others who currently sit on the outside looking in include, Rene LeClercq who won $1,291.33 from Strathmore, and Bradi Whiteside who pocketed $1,026.48 from Coronation.

The 2025 Canadian Champion barrel racer, Jayden Wilson, won money at all three rodeos over the weekend and now sits fifth in the unofficial standings. Wilson was 8th in Strathmore, worth $1,660.28, 5th in Coronation for $789.60, and 4th in Grimshaw for $1,002.04.

Heather Crowley picked up a cheque in Strathmore to hold onto her second-place standing. She is unofficially just $228.67 behind two-time Canadian Champion Taylor Manning.

Austyn Tobey placed second at the Strathmore Stampede, earning $5,903.20, and now sits third in the unofficial Canadian standings. She is on track to make her first appearance at the Canadian Finals Rodeo this October.

Jennifer Neudorf and Bring The Sting, owned by Shelbie Ruel, finished fifth in Strathmore, cashing nearly $3,000. The result moved Neudorf into seventh in the unofficial standings.

Suzanne DePaoli picked up a cheque in Coronation worth $631.68 and should now sit in fourth spot.

Kirby Penttila won $1,475 out of Strathmore and won The North Peace Stampede (Grimshaw), moving her unofficially to 9th spot. Tammy Lee Taylor placed in Coronation, and she sits 8th.

Pamela Morrison won $394.80 in Coronation and sits 6th.

Lisa Zachoda and Blake Molle did not pick up cheques this weekend, but remain inside the top twelve.

It will be a horse race with 11 rodeos remaining in the 2026 Canadian Professional Rodeo Association season, and anything can happen. ______________________________________________

In the Breakaway Roping, Lakota Segboer won Coronation, and moves her into 13th spot unofficially, just $287.68 behind Aubrey Ross, who held onto twelfth position winning $305.50 out of Grimshaw.

Caitlyn Dahm cashed in at all three rodeos this weekend, finishing second in Strathmore worth $3,210.57 (tying with Taya Hamming, Katelyn Branden and Jessica Gunsch), was third in Coronation for $1,184.40 (tying with Danielle Wray and Bailey Smith), and tied to win Grimshaw with Payton Smith, each pocketing $1,313.65.

Former Canadian Champion, Kendal Pierson won $1,692.00 for her second place finish at Coronation, moving her unofficially to seventh spot. Mikenna Schauer picked up a cheque in Grimshaw worth $672.10 and currently sits 9th.

Kylie Whiteside had a quiet weekend in the Breakaway, and currently holds eleventh spot.

Bradi Whiteside still holds the number one position with $39,363.24 won in the season, and Jenna Dallyn sits second, with $6,405.77 unofficially between the two.

Ponoka Stampede Champion, Falyn Thomson hangs on to third place, winning $1,038.70 won out of Grimshaw. Keely Pugh, Shaya Biever, Jennifer Schuk and Lawrie Neal had quiet weekends, they sit 4th, 6th, 8th, and 10th.
